DFW offers two Lost and Found areas for items lost in the *airport, depending on where your item was left.
Lost items may be delivered to:
- American Airlines Lost and Found near gate C2 (past security)
- Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Passenger Experience and Quality Improvement Manager
- DFW Lost and Found located in the Terminal E baggage claim near E4 (pre security)
*Please note that items lost on an airplane will be handled by each individual airline's Lost and Found.

Monday through Sunday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Advice for Travelers:
DFW’s Lost and Found does not charge to file a lost property report. Please be aware that there has been an increase in unverified third-party websites charging travelers a fee to retrieve a lost item(s). When filing a report, please file a report online, call the number provided or file the report in person.
